ROBINSON – WOII BSM Leslie John Robinson passed away on Saturday 21st October 2023, aged 81 years. He is now at peace with his wife, Anne (W.R.A.C), who left us in July 2023.  Father to Paul and Fiona and Grandad to Laura, Grant, Hannah and Brice.  He is missed by us all.

Les enlisted with the Royal Artillery in 1960, trained as a surveyor, at Oswestry before his first spell in Germany stationed in Celle with Y-troop. In 1966 he met Anne which was the start of 55 years of utter love and devotion to each other.

Whilst stationed with 94 (locating) Regiment, Les did multiple tours of Oman and time in Northern Ireland. Both tours left their mark. His final posting was with 33 Bty, Junior Leaders Regiment, Bramcote where he retired after 22 years service.
